Leprechauns beware!!! Today we made our leprechaun trap. We made it out of an oatmeal container with the lid off. We then cut out a piece of felt the same size as the lid and set it on top so that when those sneaky leprechauns step on it they will fall in. Hopefully we will catch one and get all of his Gold!
Wacky Wednesday!
Last week Braden's preschool had Wacky Wednesday where the kids were supposed to dress up crazy! He wore his clothes backwards, Christmas light-up socks, and BLUE hair! He had so much fun trying to get as kooky as possible!

Happy Birthday Tom!!!
Tom turned 28 toda
y! Yikes are we are starting to get old! For Tom's Birthday I made his favorite dinner Frito Pie and Favorite Cake Lemon with lemon frosting. We surprised him with a new hammer and watch... both went missing... seems to happen a lot around here. And then he is still thinking about what else he wants to get. I love him so much and am so happy we get to spend our lives together! Here's to many more years ahead! I love you!

You are what you eat.... Yikes!!!!
So the other night I watched "Food, inc" and holy cow (no pun intended) did it make me rethink the way we eat! It was so alarming to learn where your food is really coming from. I always considered our family pretty healthy eaters, but now I realize we have a far way to go! We are going organic and natural! I know it will be a challenge but I believe it will be worth it in the end. Will post later on our progress...

On Saturday we were invited to our good friend Sofia's 5th Birthday! It was at the Murray Rec Center Pool! We had not been in the water since summer. And boy did we have fun! Maddie is quite the little fish, she was all over the place! And Braden had fun going for rides around the pool. We will def need to go swimming more often!
Braden's 4th Birthday!!!
Wow my little baby boy is 4! Time flies!!! We threw an amazing birthday weekend! His actual birthday was on Friday, so we opened his presents from us and had Brownies! He got a race track, Cars set, cars, Wubzy DVD, and Little Big Planet game. All together it was a fun day! Then came the big day! On Saturday we invited some of Braden's close friends and painted cars then raced them! It was really funny because we ended up having more girls than boys come. So we had a LOT of
pink race cars. All the kids got trophies and little snack bags to take home. On Sunday we had grandparent, Aunts and Uncles and any other family who wanted to
come over for cake and ice cream! This was such a fun birthday with a great year to come!
